Premier Railroadiana - Day 2
Rail & Road Auctions
Day 2 of our March Premier Railroadiana Auction is highlighted by an extraordinary offering of railroad china and silver, anchored by Part 2 of the Edward Egan Collection and an exceptional selection from the Jim Scott Collection.
Jim Scott is well known among advanced dining car collectors and kindly assisted Doug McIntyre with his Official Dining Car Guide to China. Many pieces in this session are directly connected to that reference work, making this a rare opportunity to acquire documented, collector-level examples from one of the most respected dining car china collections to come to market in recent years.
Beyond the dining car material, Day 2 also features a strong selection of lanterns, railway hardware, and a standout group of Railway Express Agency memorabilia ? including high-impact porcelain signage and related display pieces.
This session continues the excellent archival material from the Budd Archives, including more Pullman builder photography and the first round of Budd builder photos to be offered through Rail & Road Auctions, alongside additional related materials. A strong selection of ticket dater dies is also included.
