Pay attention to this company!

While the bidding and purchasing is fine, the fact you have to hunt down people to deliver it for 10 times the cost of the item is ridiculous. I’d rather shop on Chairish. They tell you how much it will cost prior to the purchase.

I really like this auction house. They go out of their way to make sure that their pictures are accurate and that you are able to easily retrieve your items.

This is my third time participating in an Ararity Auctions sale, and it was a great experience once again. Nick is an absolute gentleman and helped me load the very heavy glass-top coffee table that I bought into the van. He is very personable and great to talk to. There was a condition issue that I brought to his attention in writing afterwards, and he was very understanding and fair in his resolution. He suggested that I attend the previews for their upcoming auctions, which is an excellent idea since I live close enough to their auction house to do so. Their photography is always excellent, but items tend to look different in person. Ararity Auctions far surpasses all other auction houses that I've dealt with when it comes to professionalism and communication.

This was my second time participating in one of Ararity's auctions, and it was once again a very pleasant experience. I bought two dining room tables, both of which I picked up and took immediately to an antiques show nearby. The Pietro Costantini table is simply exquisite, done in an Art Deco style, and is in amazing condition. All of the items in their auctions are professionally photographed, which is so helpful. The pick-up process is well organized and allows each buyer to schedule an appointment within a two-week period. I was alone, but the two young men at the Ararity storage area put the two tables in my truck for me, which was greatly appreciated. Good communication is essential when dealing with any auction house, and Nick is very professional and prompt in responding to inquiries. I only wish that all auction houses were as well run as Ararity Auctions!
