They have good items, but they have no shipping department. They use an outside shipping company, which doesn’t communicate in English, and has outrageously inflated shipping prices. Do not bid!

The auction itself was a pleasant experience for me, but the shipping was a disaster. The courier company the auction house uses is not recommended; it took a month to receive these purchases, and they were also very costly. I don't think I'll participate in another auction

Very responsive to questions, friendly, and upfront but would not recommend for online bidders. They clearly state no in house shipping but the shippers they recommend were ridiculously expensive and it took 3 weeks to pack and send the item.

The auction itself was an okay experience, and I am satisfied with the items that I won. However, they do not ship, and I had to make arrangements with a shipping company that they suggested. That in itself, was a big headache; and communication was very poor. Also, what the shipping company charged to ship such small, and lightweight items; was outrageously expensive for within Europe, and it no longer made the won items worth what I paid for them. I do not recommend doing business with this auction, or any other auction; that does not ship its sold listings.

Won these items on Dec 8, 2024. Took over 10 days to receive the invoice which was already unusual. Paid the invoice immediately. Then receive message to either COME PICK IT UP 17hours away or contact 3rd party in another country to pick it up and ship it. Their suggested shipper QUOTED NEAR 100 EURO for this small package, I told the seller this was 5 TIMES the usual. They suggested another "shipper" who has yet after a month to respond. After hundreds of simple transactions on this platform and thousands of online transactions, I have never experienced such a seller who has zero regard for the customer actually receiving their paid for items. Seller repeats constantly that this is normal behavior and refuses to refund. Forced now to involve paypal in this dispute. AVOID THIS AUCTION HOUSE if you do not want complete headaches and a waste of time.

As you can see from my rating-the items offert by Militaria Auctions are great but unless they don't look for an alternative for shipping, I'm not sure to take part in any further auctions from Militaria Auctions! Having no other choice but to take MBE Brussels, I had to pay for a small size box below 2 kilos €97,-from Belgium to Austria!!!!! And it took quite a time! Not acceptable!

This is my fourth time participating in Militaria Auctions and three things they excel in is accuracy, efficiency and consistency. Information on items is well detailed and usually enough photos to accurately cover any flaws and small details. The process after winning items such as email correspondence, billing information and answering questions for me has always been consistent and cordial. Shipping to the US is a challenge and expensive, but MailBoxes Etc (MBE) in my dealings with them has been pretty much the same as Militaria Auctions, accurate, efficient and consistent.

The heirloom, which is over 80 years old, a war behind it and of course already not in perfect condition, arrived crushed and creased in a 3cm high soft plastic bag, recycled by a previous FedEx shipment. The cap looked like an omelette … I paid €393 for auction fees, plus €84 for shipping: did you or MBE Brussels run out of cardboard boxes? Moreover, the courier didn't even ask me to sign the receipt … Never seen something like this in over 30 years of collecting. Really all very unprofessional. Never again!

Easy transaction

The sending of the goods was very expensive, its cheaper to buy something in America the shipping costs are ridiculous.

I used the 'link' on the Militaria Auctions website to bid on lots I wanted through 'Live Auctioneers' platform rather than 'Lot Tissimo'-BIG MISTAKE!! Although I bid on several items, most of my bids were not received instantly and although many of my bids were for MORE than the eventual 'winning bid', I only 'won' one lot because most of my bids didn't register until AFTER the lot had closed!!! It obviously wasn't just a problem for me as you could actually see numerous bids arriving late 'on screen' when the next lot was underway!! NEVER AGAIN will I bid through the 'Live Auctioneers' platform!!!!

Once I paid for my lots there were only two options of shippment, one was 72 euro and the other 72 euro. if you dare to send your own courrier they refuse to tell you the adress, send you phone number to a guy who can't speak english, it's impossible. so you pay 72 euro (shipping company estimates the price according to value of you purchase!!). I paid on monday, friday they told me they will ship it next week!! It took them 10 days to send it, also most expensive shippment of 0.5 kg box ever. auction itself is OK they removed item I found was dubious with no problems so untill shipping time everything was fine. but the logistics left very bitter taste

Great communication, but feel items are overpriced.

Accurate item description and good communication. Offsite shipment services were very costly.
