We are deeply sorry for your disappointment and dissatisfaction. As per other reviews, we do take tremendous pride in being as communicative and helpful as possible. This includes providing information on each and every lot to help prepare a bidder for their responsibilities. On your lot, this information included the following: "NO SHIPPING is offered – removal is available through Liveauctioneers (via The Packengers) or you or your designated Agent". Given your rating is based on "outrageous shipping costs and lack of communication," I must further defend ourselves. As to the cost of LiveAuctioneers 'shipping, we don't control that, nor do we benefit from their fees in any way, it's offered as a convenience to buyers, and as explained in the lot, buyers are otherwise able and responsible to make their own shipping arrangements. That said, I did find communication between you and our office on 9/26, the day following the sale. You emailed that you were dissatisfied with the LiveShipping cost and asked how else you might arrange shipping. Instead of telling you to arrange yourself, we provided you with a list of other shipper referrals, as well as a link to an online form used to communicate who will be picking up for you and authorizing them to do so. These third-parties picked up successfully for many bidders from that auction. Again, I'm truly sorry for your disappointment but do feel that we were both responsive and communicative. Best of luck with future auctions and purchases.

As business liquidators, we helicopter into a project and don’t always have access to information about what’s being sold. We do our best to not overstate or misrepresent anything, and think we get it right the vast majority of the time, typically with numerous photos to help a buyer come to their own conclusions. We’re sorry this item was not as you had hoped and will take your comment to heart when preparing for the next sale. As to shipping, it is all 3rd party referral and not a revenue source for us. You are always welcome to send in your own shipper. I hope if we sell something you like in the future, you will try again. Thank you for your feedback.

In addition to LiveAuctioneers shipping services, we typically provide several referral companies (if you don’t see them in the future, contact us), but buyers are also able to send in their own shipper. Our hope is the great buys made help offset the cost of shipping.

As court employed liquidators our terms of sale and process are certainly more aggressive than many of the more traditional auction houses on LiveAuctioneers.
