Tables were just as described. Smooth process. I was impressed with the quality of the items in the sale.

The auction house was very helpful and responsive with me trying to have a messenger come to pick it up as a simpler answer than a shipping company. All worked out perfectly. Excited to have the piece in my collection.

I just received (2) large crystal obelisks that were beautiful and thoughtfully packed... such a treat to see the attention and care given to these... what a treat!!

Good communication

I won a walnut Widdicomb nightstand. The item was photographed showing some waterstains etc. to the wood which was expected. However, when I arrived to pickup the nightstand, it was completely painted over in yellow. I told the employee the item I won was unpainted wood and showed him the liveauctioneers listing. He just said the item was changed since the photos were updated ... obviously?). There was absolutely nothing in the description noting it had been painted over. I drove over 4.5 hours total and paid expensive NYC tolls to pick up this item, so I took it with me rather than fight & try to get a refund for something I had already prepaid for. So now I have a hideous yellow nightstand to give away. I will never use this auction house again and certainly can not recommend them to anyone-who knows what you're actually bidding on.
