this was just a poster for such a high fee I feel it was misrepresented

These guys are a scam. Stay clear! made a fast bid a couple of days before the auction date on a group of items. Wrote asking to retract as I didn’t want a lithograph. They refused. No one else bid. I won all three items. When they arrived one was clearly pixellated. The edges are freshly cut on the heavy board they were glued to. Cropping the picture. I spent over $500 on what I could have done at home printing images off Google image on my home printer and sticking to some card. This operation preys solely on naive bidders and bidders who don’t read the full detail of the long text listing. In this case if you read any of their listings they’re saying everything is junk and sold as is. Save money do your own print at home if you want this low quality junk. For a fraction of the price. Theirs a place for these items if listed for $5 but for $250 + it’s just predatory Should be banned from the platform

I am compelled to post a most positive review of Lucerne’s customer service team. I was disappointed when the item I received had been damaged in shipping. Lucerne immediately found a replacement and sent this promptly and with no additional charges. Top notch.

The Hiroshige Sugoruku will bring much joy and a greater understand of Hiroshige's masterwork, the 53 Stations of the Tokaido Road. I have most of the prints and this will be a valuable asset. There was a misundertsnading on my part, and upon receipt of my correspondence, Lucerne Auctions bent over backwards to make things right. They succeeded in doing this beyond anything I would have expected. I particularly appreciated their courtesy in communications. On a star system, I would rate the transaction as 5 star, excellent.

I am very frustrated with my transaction with Lucerne/LiveAuctioneers. So, for now, since I STILL don't have my purchased piece, I remain dissatisfied.

I will never buy from this auction again.

Package arrived damaged (USPS fault). Contacted Lucerne and they couldn’t be nicer. Reshipped my print with no questions asked. Couldn’t have been nicer and was very responsive.
