American Brilliant Cut Glass
True collectors of American Brilliant Cut Glass will remember November 18, 2017 as the Grabb/Chandler Auction. Tom Grabb (of Indiana) is a collector who continued what his parents had started. His ability to locate rare pieces in the relatively small radius of his hometown was uncanny. The Grabb collection was quite exciting by itself, but with the addition of 60 lots from the Bill Chandler collection (of Tennessee), this auction went from impressive to extraordinary. Highlight pieces in this auction include a museum quality historical Dorflinger cranberry to clear ewer commissioned for the 1899 Vanderbilt/Fair wedding, and an Amberina Russian pattern bowl that is sure to find the right home. Rare patterns such as Pueblo, Waldorf, Bellevue, Crystal City, Atom, Rex, and others are featured throughout. We truly hope you are able to attend this auction in person ? you will not be disappointed. Every item will sell to the highest bidder(s) without reserve.
