The coins listed in this auction are being sold to settle several New England Estates. 1. PAYMENT: Is due upon receipt of the auction, we accept checks, wire transfers, cash, money orders; credit card payments are accepted LiveAuctioneers. Items are sent after funds have cleared. Checks should be mailed to the address bellow. Items will be held until payment has cleared. Any purchase over $2,000 and all overseas transactions must be paid via wire transfer in US Funds unless prior credit has been established. Failure to make payment will result in a filed complaint to Live Auctioneers whereas further bidding with Live Auctioneers will be stopped until payment is received. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Buyer's premium is 20% of the purchase price. SALES TAX Maine residents will pay a State of Maine sales tax of 5.5% will be assessed on all purchases except when buyer provides a copy of a valid state-issued resale certificate (business type must pertain to the item/s being purchased) or if shipped anywhere except Maine. Bidders unknown to Boyd Auctions may be required to supply a form of identification or references. Approval of bidders is at the discretion of Boyd Auctions. Boyd Auctions has the right to refuse any bidder. Overseas bidder's unknown to Boyd Auctions are required to supply references from US auction houses where purchases have been made. We DO NOT ACCEPT REGISTRATION the DAY OF or DURING THE AUCTION. 3. ALL SALES FINAL, SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS | regardless of verbal or written description, or lack of description. Conditions (If condition is not mentioned in a catalogue listing, this does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging.): Boyd Auctions will be pleased to provide a condition report for any lot on request. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging. Most of the items we sell are OLD and will have imperfections pursuant to age. We recommend prospective bidders examine all items in which they have an interest. By placing a bid, via the Internet, you signify that you have examined the items as fully as you desire to or that you have chosen not to examine them. If you require absolute certainty in all areas of authenticity, and the results of your evaluation leave uncertainty in your mind, we recommend you have an expert examine the lot for you or DO NOT BID on the item in question. Bidding on these items is acceptance of these terms. Lots are available for inspection prior to any sale. Please refer to photographs on-line if more detailed information is needed please contact us directly. If there is any uncertainty to any lot we recommend you do not bid on the item in question. There are no refunds. ALL FRAMES, GOLD GILT AND MIRRORS ARE SOLD AS IS. ALL CLOCKS, BAROMETERS, ELECTRICAL OR MECANICAL ARE SOLD AS IS. ALL DIMENSIONS LISTED IN OUR ART DESCRIPTIONS ARE OF THE ART ONLY AND DO NOT INCLUDE THE FRAME. WE ARE HAPPY TO PROVIDE DIMENSIONS WITH THE FRAME UPON REQUEST. 4. BIDDING: Bidding constitutes a contract between Boyd Auctions and the bidder. Failure to make payment gives Boyd Auctions the authority to begin legal proceedings for total payment including interest and legal fees. In the case of any bidding error or dispute, either during or post sale, the Boyd Auctions sale record is conclusive. In the event of a dispute between bidders, the auctioneer has final discretion to determine the successful bidder. We reserve the right to withdraw any item, or refuse an opening bid if it is not commensurate to the value of the item. Boyd Auctions is not responsible for any delay or failure of the execution of a bid on the LiveAuctioneer platform. For internet-only auctions, we reserve the right to cancel and/or reopen the auction in the case of system failures. Buyer's premium is 20% of the purchase price. 5. Boyd Auctions DOES NOT PACK OR SHIP PURCHASED ITEMS. Transport is the responsibility of the buyer. We will provide a 3rd party shipping list for your convenience. 6. SHIPPING: Clients are invited to either pick-up purchased items at our auction location during regular business hours or have items shipped. Any one picking up at our location will be required to provide a copy of there resale certificate or pay a 5.5% ME sales tax. We will also provide you with a list of third party shippers, which you may use if you choose all international clients, will be referred to our third party shippers. Handling of purchased lots by us is at the risk of the purchaser. Final arrangements and agreements are strictly between the buyer and the shipper. Purchasers utilizing third party shipping services will be charged by the company selected for packing, handling, postage and insurance. Boyd Auctions is in no way responsible for the acts or omissions of independent contractors, packers or carriers of purchased merchandise. Boyd Auctions does not ship or pack any items sold or offered at auction, no exceptions. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE OR LOSS DUE TO SHIPPING. The Auctioneer will have no responsibility for any loss or damage resulting from Auctioneers staff carrying, handling or loading any item(s) for any person. There are several options below to choose from or you may choose a shipper of your own. Please note choosing a shipper below is your responsibility, these are only recommendations. We assume no responsibility once an item is picked up by a shipper. Your winning bid will not be canceled, rescinded, or retracted due to any shipping limitation, including international shipping issues. It is your responsibility to resolve shipping issues PRIOR to bidding in this (or any other) auction. If you plan to pick up your items, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can have them accessible. 7. STORAGE: Due to limited storage space for sold items, Boyd Auctions requires that the arrangements for the pick-up or shipment of purchased items must be completed within 15 days of the auction unless other arrangements have been made. Please remember, once an item has sold, it is no longer covered by insurance and is stored at the owner's risk. A notice of 24 hours must be given before items are picked up. Boyd Auctions, Inc. reserves the right to charge a fee of $10 per day, per item, if not removed within the requested time frame. 8. YOUR INVOICE: Due to the uncontrollable nature of the delivery of email, if you have participated in an auction, you are encouraged to inquire regarding whether or not you were a successful bidder. Non-receipt of an emailed invoice does not preclude you from your responsibilities for payment. If we do not receive your payment within ten (10) business days of the auction, Boyd Auctions reserves the right to move forward with any and all remedies available to us, including reporting your bad debt to the live auction provider and/or any other related entities and charging your credit card on file. A fee of $35 will be assessed on all returned checks. Boyd Auctions reserves the right to take possession of any items not paid within 28 days, for re-sale, at bidder's expense. You will be responsible for any difference between net selling price and original invoice, including storage fees. Bad debts will be reported to appropriate credit agencies.
