Orientalist Art

Our Orientalist Art auction takes place annually each October at our New Bond Street saleroom in London. Over the past few years, Bonhams have firmly established themselves as leaders in this category, with works such as Osman Hamdi Bey's Young Woman Reading achieving £6,690,362, and Ludwig Deutsch's The Qanun Player selling for £1,167,062. With early consignments by artists such Jean-Léon Gérôme, Eugène Fromentin and Ludwig Deutsch, the 20 October auction promises to be another exciting event.
