Celebrating the history and diversity of the United States, our August Americana sale offers a selection of furniture, folk art and decorations that represent the decorative arts heritage of our nation. Highlights include a fine group of weather vanes and folk art objects including a carved oak figure of a Drum Majorette and a two Carousel Horses. Fine art highlights include portraits and American School works on paper and prints. Furniture highlights include a pair of Esherik stools, Federal painted and caned side chairs, a Chippendale maple slant-front desk, a Federal mahogany extension diningtable and a large classical mahogany gilt-metal-mounted sideboard.
