Featuring the Thomas & Gail Rockwell Collection, and partial contents of several Hudson Valley & Connecticut country estates. Thomas is a son of renowned American artist Norman Rockwell, and Gail his departed wife, was the daughter of artists Arthur E. Sudler & Janet Whitson Sudler. Tom was an author of many Children?s books and Gail, a fine artist is her own right, was an illustrator of many of his books ? many of her book illustrations will be included in this sale. While the sale will only include 1 sketch attributed to Norman Rockwell, a bronze sculpture from his artist son Peter will also be sold, as well as other Rockwell and Sudler family member?s artwork. Additionally, other artwork from the Rockwell home and other estates will be included, across a broad spectrum of categories, many by listed artists. Unused Norman Rockwell Posters from 1950-1980 will also be sold.
