All items are sold AS IS, where is, and without recourse. We are open to the public for previews 30 days prior to the auction by appointment only by calling (212) 247-1097 or emailing fifthavenueauctions@gmail.com. We are open Monday - Friday, 11:00 AM EST 4:00 PM EST located at 650 West Avenue 1st Floor, Stamford, CT United States 06902. If you cannot inspect an item in person, call or email and we will provide all information possible for your review. Condition reports are opinions and should not be treated as fact. Please ask questions if you are not sure about an item PRIOR to the auction. There are no guarantees to the authenticity of the signatures on any work of art, we use the terms attributed to, manner of, or style (of) in our catalog. We will only guarantee the mediums in which works are executed in. ALL ITEMS MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 10 DAYS FOLLOWING THE AUCTION, any items not picked up in that time will be subject to late and storage fees of $10 per day. Refusal to pay incurred storage fees and pick up the item within 30 days will result in the surrender of your item back to the auction house. Any items not picked up within 60 days of the auction will be put up again for auction without reserve in the next available sale and all costs incurred with shipping and storing items will be deducted from the proceeds of the sale.
All auction disputes will be settled by 5th Avenue Auctions, LLC's records and shall be treated as factual and final. Liveauctioneers.com and any other on-line provider is a 3rd party entity and cannot supersede the auction gallery records. 5th Avenue Auctions, LLC are governed by Connecticut auction laws, and only those laws will be accepted and adhered to.
Must Read for Pick-Up & Storage Fees!
Our pick-up times are limited to 11:00 AM TO 4:30 PM Monday - Friday by appointment only. We need your purchases to be removed ASAP. If items are here beyond 10 business days, they will be sent to storage at your risk and your expense. Storage fees begin at $10 a day. Please make sure you bring someone with you if picking up a larger item, we have no movers on site to assist for larger pickups at this time. If having a shipper pick up on your behalf, please make sure they are aware of this and bring another person to assist them. Shipping is expensive. WE URGE YOU TO GET SHIPPING QUOTES BEFORE THE AUCTION! WE CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. GET QUOTES BEFORE THE AUCTION. Refunds will not be given due to shipping costs.
Autopay
If you have not contacted 5th Avenue Auctions to arrange payment within 3 days of the time that invoice is sent, we will charge the credit card you used to register for the auction for the amount of your invoice.
Sales Tax
