Stevens Auction Company is pleased to announce our commission to offer at public auction the contents of various magnificent Southern estates from Salem, Missouri, Columbus, Mississippi, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Aberdeen, Mississippi. These three estates when pulled together, represent hundreds of pieces of fine antiques and Southern Finery. Many items in this sale are from the Estate of a long time client and friend, Mr. John J. Tune of Salem, Missouri. His home was filled with a 30 thirty year collection of antiques, with the majority being purchased from our gallery and auctions around the country.
The auction will include beautiful antiques and many unique items such as: handmade Persian rugs, French tapestry rugs, premier artwork from the 19th Century until today, antique lighting, porcelain, cast iron, primitives, bronze statues, antique mirrors, china, antique beds, clocks, statuary, beautiful lamps, and hundreds of other pieces too numerous to list. The Open House will be on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM CST. The auction will be on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 10:00 AM.
