Important Two-Day Estate Auction Day - TWO

We are pleased to offer in this two-Day Auction from the Jim & Theresa Earle Estate from College Station, Texas many fine and documented artifacts from the old west. The Earles were well ensconced in the Texas Gun collecting community and served as officers in the TGCA. They were well known for owning some of the rarest items of the old west and spent many hours authenticating each item in their collection. They have owned items like the Colt used to kill Billy the Kid which sold at public auction in 2021 for six million dollars, becoming the most expensive gun ever sold. Other guns sold in the past from their collection included those belonging to John Wesley Hardin, Wild Bill Hickock, John Selman, Johnny Ringo, Jesse James, Cole Younger, Tom Horn and others. Many items from their estate will be seen in this upcoming auction. More important than the value of their collection is the legacy of Jim and Theresa?s commitment to preserving the history of the Wild West. Also included in this auction is the Lee Hutcheson Collection that includes a huge collection of Colt Single Action Army Revolvers, Sheriff Models, Factory Engraved & others. Fine Winchesters including a ?Henry? marked 1866 Rifle. A fantastic collection of leather Money Belts and Holster Rigs from early old west makers. One of the finest collections of early Law Enforcement Badges, possibly as many as 70 offered in this sale from his 250 Badges, offering several gold and sterling marked badges. Lee was a long-time member of the TGCA and other firearm collector groups. He began his collection in the mid 1970s and is well known in the Texas collector?s field. He spent a great deal of time researching and documenting his memorabilia and enjoyed collecting from shows, auctions and friends. Unfortunately, Lee had some health concerns in the early 2020s and has had to discontinue his love of collecting.
