Friday, March 28 at 10am, Weschler’s Capital Collections Auction Fine art begins the sale featuring the oil on pressed wood, Cambridge and Valley by Grandma Moses (Anna Robertson), works by Rodolfo Morales, George Hendrix Breitner, Leon Kroll, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and others. A selection of fine antique American and English furniture includes a Queen Anne black and gold japanned etched mirrored-inset door bureau bookcase, circa 1700 and later, and a Charles X commode, center table and console tables. Asian works include a selection of Japanese Imari, Korean blue and white, Chinese Famille Rose porcelain, cloisonn? vases, urns, and censors.
