Art + Design

John Moran Auctioneers is proud to present its fall Art + Design auction, featuring over 370 lots spanning fine art, design, studio craft, and decorative objects from the 20th and 21st centuries. Art highlights include works by Alice Baber, Wolf Kahn, Davood Roostaei, SHAG, Wayne Thiebaud, and Richard Diebenkorn. Studio ceramics and design are led by luminaries Beatrice Wood, Harrison McIntosh, Otto Natzler, Wharton Esherick, Philip and Kelvin LaVerne, Charles and Ray Eames. Rounding out the sale are two capsule collections: the Estate of Robert Baron, co-owner and designer at Glenn of California, and the Estate of Mario Armond Zamparelli, the noted designer for Howard Hughes as well as a pre-war Gibson Mastertone banjo and a 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera.
