February Fine Estates Auction

The first section of our February 17th sale comprises over 180 lots of antique, vintage, contemporary and MCM decorative arts from estates. Highlights including a stellar group of American coin silver from a Bethany CT estate; a wonderful oil on canvas view of Waterbury CT by renowned local artist Peter Poskas II; a rare New York Chippendale carved mahogany fire screen with lineage from Upper Red Hook; a fine as found Regency carved rosewood center table from a Westerly RI estate; two fine Nantucket lightship basket from two separate estates; and other property from estates and collections from Connecticut, New York and Rhode Island. The second section of the sale includes over 400 lots of fine art, comprising paintings, miniatures and bronze sculptures, being sold for the estate of a New Jersey collector for whom we had previously sold 440 artworks since 2022.
