Legends Never Fade: September Summer Auction brings together 135 lots celebrating the athletes, teams and characters whose legacies continue to define collecting. Join Era’s End Auctions for this online only event Saturday, September 26th at 12 PM Noon CST (Chicago Time). The auction opens with authenticated baseball legends including Willie Mays at Lot 2, Hank Aaron at Lot 3, Sandy Koufax at Lot 4 and Mickey Mantle at Lot 5, followed by PSA/DNA authenticated baseballs from White Sox legend Ted Lyons at Lot 7 and Negro League star Bill Byrd at Lot 8. Lot 10 features a PSA/DNA authenticated Mickey Mantle signed Louisville Slugger, one of the premier baseball pieces of the sale. Vintage sports cards and memorabilia follow before an outstanding basketball section led by the centerpiece of the entire auction: Lot 35, a 1986 Fleer #57 Michael Jordan Rookie graded BGS 7.5. More Jordan rarities follow, while Lots 49 and 50 feature rare 1996 and 1998 Chicago Bulls ownership championship watches, each presented to Bulls limited partner Norman Jacobs. Vintage Bulls apparel continues through Lot 63 before Pokemon takes over the second half of the auction. Buyer's Premium: A 25% buyer's premium will be added to the hammer price of every lot sold. This premium is non-negotiable and will be included in the final invoice.
