Bonhams are delighted to announce the sale of a remarkable private collection of Scandinavian art, to be offered for sale on 27th October in New Bond Street, London. Formed by Norwegian collectors Iwona and Bjarne Rieber, the sale brings together exceptional works across printmaking and painting, reflecting a deeply personal engagement with the artistic heritage of Norway and the wider Nordic region. The collection, carefully assembled over decades, highlights masterworks by Edvard Munch alongside leading figures of Scandinavian art including Harald Sohlberg, Michael Ancher, and Nikolai Astrup.
