Major and Important Auction

Condition of Terms: All lots are sold on an as is condition. It is the bidder's responsibility (present, absentee, and internet) to determine the exact condition of each item. Main Auction Galleries will not be responsible for typographical errors. Bid Increments are as follows: 0 - 200 10 200 - 700 25 700 - 1500 50 1500 - 5000 100 5000- 10000 250 10000 - 20000 500 20000 - up 1000 The Auctioneer will determine the highest bidder. The Auctioneer has the right to reopen the bidding of an item if deemed necessary due to a dispute. If there is a tie, the floor bidder gets the precedence over the Phone or Internet. The Buyer assumes all risk and full responsibility of the lot purchased once it is sold. All bidders must register their name, permanent street address, city and state (no PO Box numbers accepted), telephone number and two forms of identification. The Buyer must present a valid Visa, MC, Discover or American Express card. We do not accept PayPal. There is a $50 fee charged for all returned checks and a $35 fee for all wire transfers. There will be 6.75% sales tax fee charged to anyone without a vendors license who buys in person at our auction... European and Asian Buyers must pay by wire transfer. We do not take credit cards from Europe or Asia. You must fill out the absentee bidders form completely. Phone bidding and absentee bids 3 days in advance of sale. We will only take a limited amount of phone bidding on any item with a value of $300 or more. All merchandise whether bidding by phone, absentee of internet indicates the bidders agreement to be bound by these terms and condition for bidders. The rights and obligations of the parties shall be governed by the laws of the state of Ohio. All bidders submit to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in Ohio. All lots are sold as is without any representation or warranties by Main Auction Galleries Inc. Absentee, Telephone and Internet bidding is offered as a free service to our customers and prospective bidders. Main Auction Galleries shall not be responsible for any errors or failures in executing bids by telephone, absentee or via the internet. An absentee bidder unknown to Main Auction Galleries, Inc. will be required to submit a bank letter of credit prior to the auction. Main Auction Galleries Inc. will bid competively by our auction staff. The auction staff will try to purchase the lot for the lowest price possible. Main Auction Galleries inc. does not accept "buy bids" or absentee bids which have no limit. Main Auction Galleries Inc. is not responsible for any failure to execute a bid and shall have no liability to any bidder for any technical or other failure associated with internet bidding. The price for each lot is the hammer price the auctioneer calls out. The buyer is responsible for the buyer's premium, sales tax, and all packing, handling, insurance, and shipping costs. Bidders outside of the United States will be required to pay by wire transfer. All items with a reserve sill start at the reserve. We do not disclose reserves. Unreserved lots will have a minimum opening bid of one-half the low estimate Packaging, shipping of and insurance on the items is the responsibility of the buyer. No items will be shipped until payment has been received and if paid by check has cleared the bank. Main Auction Galleries can suggest shippers but will not take any responsibility. This transaction is between the buyer and the shipper. Items may be picked up Monday thru Friday 8:30 am until 4:30 pm only, and must be paid and removed within two weeks/ 14 days of the auction. If not paid for within this time period the items will be resold. There will be a storage fee of $10 per day per item if items are not removed within this time period. Main Auction Galleries Inc. makes every effort to describe merchandise as accurately as possible.
