Welcome to our first sale of Pocket Watches and Parts in 2014! There is a fantastic mix of items for the collector, professional and the hobbyist alike. We have some beautiful examples of workmanship on offer, including a variety of enamel decorated fobs in various hues (lots 18, 19, 63, 67, 88, 132 and 161), a minute repeater made for James Jephson of London?s eminent Inner Temple (lot 7), a lovely pair case by French of the Royal Exchange (lot 8) and a full hunter by Dent complete with box (lot 61). For those with less mainstream tastes, we have a watch cane head (lot 64) and a ?memento mori? skull, albeit non-original (lot 182). From the parts sale, we have a wonderful selection of quirky watch winders (lots 321-335) in a variety of bright, vibrant colours and designs including Marilyn Monroe! As usual, our parts range from well known brands to sports ranges, but we are sure there will be something to cater for all tastes in the lots. Thank you for reading, and whether in the saleroom, by phone or on the internet, we look forwards to having you at our sale!
