a) Every effort has been made by Crossroads Angling Auction, Inc. to describe articles offered for sale accurately. However, all property offered are sold 'as is' and it is strongly suggested that prospective bidders inspect the property before bidding or call Crossroads Angling Auction Inc. for a condition report. b) A ?BUYER?S PREMIUM? in the amount of 18% will be charged and added to the successful bid price and payable by the purchaser as part of the total price. Payment made by cash or good check will be discounted to 15%. On line bidders will be charged 21% and added to the successful bid price and payable by the purchaser as part of the total price. Should there be a dispute between bidders, the decision of the auctioneer will be binding. e) We offer absentee, phone and on-line bidding as a service to our clients who are not present at auction. However, we are not responsible for errors or omissions in connection with the execution of such bids. f) The auctioneer may reject any open bid which he deems is insufficient and withdraw the article from sale. The auctioneer may also reject any advance which he decides is insufficient. g) Any agent executing a bid that is successful for their client will be held responsible as purchaser for said item. h) All items purchased on premises are subject to a New Jersey Sales Tax of 7%, unless the purchaser possesses a valid tax exemption certificate and has filed the proper paperwork with Crossroads Angling Auction prior to said sale. Items shipped in the state of New York are subject to 8.375% sales tax. i) The liability by Crossroads Angling Auction will not exceed the hammer price of any item that is in dispute with any purchaser and paid by them. j) Payment is due at time of purchase. No property will be released without payment in full. Methods of payment are cash, approved check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Crossroads Angling Auction, Inc. reserves the right to hold any and all items that are paid for by check by people, who are unknown to the company. All items that are held will be shipped to said client once the check has cleared and will not be charged any additional fees for shipping. k) All item(s) purchased are to be paid for in full and removed from the premises no later than 7 pm on the day of the sale. l) All shipping and insurance charges are the responsibility of the purchaser, unless otherwise noted. Shipping charges will include actual shipping charges for Priority mail (Media mail for books), Confirmation and Insurance plus $5.00 for small items such as reels and lures and $10.00 for artwork and rods. Larger Items may occur a larger fee but not to exceed $15.00. All winning bidders not present for the auction will be invoiced and notified once the items are packed and shipping fees calculated. m) By participating in this sale, you indicate your acceptance of the terms and conditions. Any legal conflict arising from this auction will be heard and judged by the court system in the state of New Jersey.
