TERMS & CONDITIONS 08.20.15 Bidding on any item indicates your acceptance of these terms listed below and all other terms announced at the time of sale. International biddings over $500.00 U.S Dollars must perform a bank wire transfer unless an acceptable reason exists than we may bypass this amount for a higher limit requirement. We reserve the right to require a bank deposit for any winning item at any time both for Domestic & International Bidders. There are no cancellations, returns or refunds. Under certain circumstances, we may make an exception and allow a cancellation, re-listing, return, merchandise credit or approve a bidding credit. However, in the case of a return the Buyer's Premium, Taxes/Credit Card Charges as well as Shipping & Insurance Cost will not be refunded. If a special offering was given than that would be reversed and added to the list. A written dispute with clear, valid and documented justification for a return must be submitted for consideration. In the case of jewelry and/or gemstones/precious metals, mineral specimens, coins, comic magazines, carvings and watches a GIA, or GRS SWISS LAB or other Major Accredited Report proving contradictory gemological or other information would be required, Re-lists Occasionally you may notice that an item is re-listed. This can be due to a variety of reasons such as a winning bidder in a previous auction not paying for the item, multiple types of the same item or it is one of the few items listed with a reserve and the reserve was not met. Disclaimer Appraisals Ancient Art & Antiques, Inc utilizes Retail Replacement Value Appraisals, which are the most common. These types of evaluations are written for insurance needs. This would be the cost to replace the item with an item of equal quality and kind, considered to be the current market price or the replacement value. This type of appraisal is done to protect you in the event of damage or loss of a valuable item. Our appraisals are conducted by and independent 3rd Party appraisal firm that utilizes Certified GIA Gemologist, if more information is needed you are welcome to contact them directly: CRG Laboratory - cs@certifiedraregems.com. Appraisals should be used for verification of gemstone and/or metal weight, size, and grade only, not actual value. Appraisal value should be considered for insurance purposes only, not actual value, as price varies greatly from retail locations through-out the world. Items should not be purchased with the expectation to resell for appraisal price or for profit. Ancient Art & Antiques, Inc Reserves the Right to Reject or Limit any bid(s). Ancient Art & Antiques, Inc decision to refuse any bid, withdraw a Lot, determine a successful bidder, to cancel a sale, re-offer and re-sell an item in dispute, is conclusive, absolute and final. Reserves Some of the lots in this sale are offered subject to a reserve. The reserve is a confidential minimum price, below which the lot will not be sold agreed upon by The Consignor and Ancient Art & Antiques, Inc. In most cases, the reserve will be set below the estimated range, but in no case will it exceed the estimates listed. Breach of Sale If the buyer fails to pay in full with good cleared funds or fails to comply with the Terms and Conditions of the Sale as set forth herein, Ancient Art & Antiques, Inc reserves the right to exercise one or more of the following remedies, in addition to any other remedies available to Ancient Art & Antiques, Inc by law: a) Hold the defaulting buyer liable for the full purchase amount due. b) Cancel the sale. c) Forbid the buyer from participating in any future auction. d) Add your name to the auction platforms List of Non-Paying Bidders Cancelling a winning bid If a winning bid is cancelled for any reason and the winning bidder wishes to back out, a 7% fee will be charged to the winning bidder to cover the costs associated with listing and the non-performer may be blocked from future bidding. Liability In no event will the liability of Ancient Art & Antiques, Inc to any purchaser with respect to any item exceed the purchase price actually paid by such purchaser for such item. International Bidders must perform a bank wire transfer within 3 business days of Auction End ($500.00 and over) unless bidder has applied for approval otherwise. All goods must be paid within 3 working days from close of auction. If you are unable to pay by the 3rd business day please notify us immediately by email info@cc-digital.com to inform us of the date you guarantee payment. We are reasonable but if you cannot pay by the 10th day then we will be forced to notify the On-line Company due to the fact that we are charged in-advance on all winning bids and have paid our Consignor’s In-advance. This may affect your ability to bid in the future on items on most major auction platforms such as but not limited to LiveAuctioneers, Auctionzip, Invaluable, EPASIA and or Ebay Live Premier Auction Houses in the future. All winning bidders will be notified via email of their total amount due (shipping & insurance charges will vary depending on weight, size, destination and value determination for insurance) so the total for shipping/insurance may or may not be included on the invoice. If it is not included on the invoice a separate invoice will be sent. Self-paying on our website is the safest way to pay so we strongly suggest paying at www.vaultgems.com OR www.cc-digital.com. We accept all major credit cards or paypal via our website which is secured by Bank of America Merchant Services. If your total charges exceed $1,000.00 we will require a bank a wire transfer (unless you have applied and been approved for a different amount).
