Prehistoric Artifacts

The Old Barn Auction is proud to announce an Indian Relic Auction on June 12, 2004 of the Late Marvin & Winona Hepler Collection of Greenville, North Carolina. The Heplers lived at Fort Wayne for about 5 years after World War II. They were close friends with Frank Zahn, who served as Superior Judge of the Standing Rock Jurisdiction (North & South Dakota) with his offices at Fort Yates. The Heplers were also friends with Frank B. Fiske, who was a famous illustrator and artist. He lived on the reservation, and married a Sioux woman. Also we have relics from the Late Walter C. Henning of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and part of an Old-Time Collection from Indiana. There are some fine stone tools, slate artifacts, flint points, and a lot of nice historical material with documentation. There will be over 500 lots for the beginner to the most advanced collector. We have done our best to provide potential buyers with as complete and accurate information as possible. These items have been coordinated by Don Jardine, Jim Ritchie, and myself. We hope that you can join us for this June 2004 auction.
