The sale features artwork by major early Texas impressionists like Jose Arpa, Julian Onderdonk and Dawson-Watson, to regionalists and mid-century modern artists such as Everett Spruce, William Lester and Otis Dozier and some of the emerging Fort Worth Circle painters like Bill Bomar, Bror Utter, David Brownlow and Kelly Fearing.
