FEBRUARY 2006 AUCTION

We have been commissioned by an heir to the Albert Gallatin estate of Wakefield to sell many fine pieces from the estate including an 18th Century walnut Pennsylvania Queen Anne flat-top highboy, a 14kt cigarette case, an 18th Century silver salver with hallmarks, paintings, books and more. Gallatin was one of the most important and influential men of the early American Republic, he was a member of the Federal House of Representatives from Pennsylvania. Also of interest is a collection of original movie poster art from a San Diego, CA estate. This sale will also include antique furniture, estate jewelry, fine art, oriental carpets, porcelain and decorative accessories from many North Shore homes.
