This season includes a collection of materials from the estate of Samantha Eggar, chronicling her life and work in classics like Dr. Dolittle, The Collector, and The Brood, and her relationships with many Hollywood icons; a voluminous archive of autographed and inscribed Hollywood and film-related books and manuscripts (many first editions) from tinseltown giants, offered for the first time by Hollywood journalist and author Harry Groebel; pieces owned, worn, and used by Frank Sinatra; scripts from the career of Rob Reiner; items used in iconic productions like The Phantom of the Opera, Giant, The Ten Commandments, and Mrs. Miniver, and much more.

From the treacherous waters of Amity Island, to the backrooms of Cyberdyne Systems, and the high-rolling casino floor of Rock Vegas, "Hollywood Legends Contemporary Hollywood" has a vast array of props, costumes, and movie memorabilia to excite every kind of fan! Presented by Julien's Auctions and Turner Classic Movies. Following the 50th anniversary last year of the release of Jaws come several rare never before offered production artifacts from the first "summer blockbuster" and pop culture phenomenon such as a screen and photo-matched "ORCA II" transom name plate (estimate: $30,000 - $50,000) from Quint's (played by Robert Shaw) fishing vessel used on the stunt boat to film the terrifying sequences of the boat sinking after being attacked by the Great White shark in Jaws; a production-used "Shark Attack - Death Report" prop (estimate: $10,000 - $20,000); a Verna Fields' "Act III" script binder (estimate: $3,000-$5,000); a revised final draft production script (estimate: $4,000-$6,000); and a hand-drawn ?Orca? sketch from director Steven Spielberg?s production meeting (estimate: $10,000-$20,000). Very responsive and Professional Auction House

Smooth purchase and pick up process
The payment process was quick and very easy, and luckily the item was located near me so I was able to do an in-person pick up of my items. Making an appointment to pick up my two items was easy (although I did have to call a couple of times before I was able to reach someone), but the staff was very friendly and helpful over the phone and in person. Everything was just as described, I was in and out in under 15 minutes, all the instructions for picking up items are clearly detailed in the confirmation email and it couldn't have been easier. I was impressed and would absolutely bid/purchase with Julien's Auctions again.
