"Excellent Experience — 1689 William & Mary Act, Lot 0004 — Highly Recommend"
Dear Jasper52 Team, I wanted to share my thanks for a fantastic experience with my recent win — the 1689 Act of William and Mary for Punishing Mutiny and Desertion, printed in London by Charles Bill and Thomas Newcomb. The document itself was exactly as described — fine condition, complete and well-preserved for its age, and a genuinely fascinating piece of English parliamentary history to add to my collection. But the whole process around the purchase was equally excellent. Communication was clear from the moment the auction ended, with prompt notice about the invoice and payment process. Return not accepted for misrepresented listings
I was unhappy with the received item. It wasn't quite the size or in the condition I was expecting. The auction was not responsive to my messages even though it listed that returns are guaranteed for misrepresented listings

Careless shipping & ruined piece
My artwork was only protected by a plastic sleeve with two pieces of cardboard together. The cardboard bent where it was joined by tape. The artwork bent in two different places ruining the artwork right in the middle and the left side. I am really disappointed on the lack of care of how this was shipped because a more structured protected material could have prevented this.

They're selling cheap Amazon Jewelry
I bought a pair of earrings-description sounded great, and what I got were $6.99 Amazon earrings. I did an image search and found the same ones on Amazon. Absolutely not the quality that I was expecting, and upset that they sell this at their auction house. I did reach out to ask for a refund, but have not heard back from them. This auction house is also in NY, so I'm not sure why I paid for international shipping, especially for Amazon jewelry.

Great Experience, but a couple of quibbles
My experience with Jasper 52 was mostly great (easy to bid, reasonable buyer's premium and shipping rates, etc). However, there was a bit of confusion, because when I placed my bid, I got a pop-up that said I had not met the reserve for the item... but then I ended up winning the item anyway. A happy outcome, but confusing. I didn't bother to withdraw my bid because I thought it was not going to go through anyway. Thankfully, I didn't spend that money on something else! The second issue was that although the item was exactly as described/presented visually, it has a very strong musty/mildew-y smell, as if it spent many years in a damp basement. That funk was * not * disclosed in the description, and I'm not sure it can be remedied. I still love it, but would have appreciated knowing about that in advance.

Communication/Information lacking
I bought a "buy it now" item on June 8 2026. It is now July 13 and nothing from this company. All I have gotten in my messages to them is "we will check and get back to you". I expect more from a Company like Jasper52.

Misrepresented items
Items misrepresented in the listing and when tried to retract the bid, was unable to do so and denied! Upon communication after the auction, they were unresponsive and difficult to deal with and while I requested not to issue an invoice, they went ahead and did so anyway!

Complete absence of customer service for delivery of broken item
Purchased 3 items in one lot, one of which was delivered broken in multiple pieces. Poorly wrapped in a box too large. Reached out repeatedly to Leiberman Auctioneers/Chairish/Jasper 52, including with pictures, and they keep responding that they have notified the “designated team”. I have received no meaningful response.
