I bought two guitars from a large collection One was for a friend who is moving towards electric guitar from acoustic, the other I recognized as having Schecter parts and was from the 80’s. I was surprised that no one knew what the guitar was. During the Schecter “dream machine” days One could order parts and build their own Stratocaster or Schecter would build the “Dream Machine” for you. This guitar was one that was ordered in parts and built by someone who knew exactly what they were doing. The guitar is a monster to play and it came in a Fender ‘ 80’s thermometer style ABS plastic case. It sold for a very low price. I guess it was a lucky day as the parts alone would have cost twice what I paid. I was not in a position to buy a “dream machine” which these days would cost $3000 or more. These Schecter parts guitars are not for everyone and most hunting for Rare or vintage guitars thumb their noses at guitars ordered in parts and built at home. I have played many Stratocasters and I have a few Rare Custom shop Strats from the ‘ 80s It us great to add this one to my small hoard thanks to Ararity auctions
