TOP RATEDWe are pleased to offer the late Richard Lewman Collection. An old time collectiion put together decades ago in Clark County, Indiana. His quest to acquire the extra fine local finds of his day resulted in an unusually high grade collection of Early Archaic Hornstone relics from Southern Indiana and Northern Kentucky. Lost Lakes, Dovetails, Thebes and Stilwells - there?s a centerpiece example of each type. This sale also contains a very nice selection of prehistoric artifacts from the Gary Cuckler Collection. Many of Gary's fine Bannerstones, Axes and Flint Spears will be sold including on of Vietzen's Flared End Bar Amulets and a Brockman Clarksville Bannerstone. A dozen of Gary's fine Axes will be sold. This auction also contains a very nice group of Spiro material from the Gilbert Dilley collection. The are some very fine relics in this auction.

Burton Auctioneering shall be deemed to be warranty, representation or assumption of liability with respect to age, condition, size quality, importance, variety, provenance or historical reference- as related to any sale Item(s). Any such statements are strictly matters of opinion. Photographs in this catalogue are of the actual objects being sold, but exact condition of the objects offered is their condition day of the sale. Photographs in the listing are the property of T&T Archaeological Consulting, LLC and may not be used without written consent. T & T Archaeological Consulting. LLC is not responsible for any typographical errors or omissions in this catalogue.
Many of the consigned items in this sale have been evaluated by nationally recognized authenticators. In such situations where our consignors have endeavored to provide such verification, the artifacts are being sold with that opinion. All items carrying an independent certificate of authenticity are being sold "as-is".
Other consigned PREHISTORIC items without a certificate of authenticity (independent) may be returned by absentee (phone or internet) within 30 days following the auction. There will be no refunds or adjustments starting on the 30th day following the sale. Historic items are excluded.
The Auctioneer (J.R. Burton Auctioneering AU19900041) will be the final judge as to which bidder is the highest bidder. In event of any dispute in this matter, the auctioneer shall use his own discretion to decide whether to reopen the bid or not. Title to all merchandise shall pass to the highest bidder at the fall of the Auctioneer's hammer. While we endeavor to receive and record all bids, T&T Archaeological Consulting, LLC is not responsible for the failure of any bid to be executed. The Purchaser shall assume full risk and responsibility for the lot purchased once title has passed. The buyer must pay Indiana sales Tax (7%) unless exception is allowed under laws regulating such tax. Out of state sales tax numbers are accepted. You do not pay Indiana Sales Tax if Items are shipped out of state. A 17% Buyers Premium will be applied to internet (Live Auctioneers) purchases.
All accounts are to be settled by the end of the sale unless other arrangements have been made. Payment may be made by cash or personal check if approval has been established with Tony Putty or T & T Archaeological Consulting, LLC. No items removed until paid for. Absentee purchases must be paid for within 21 days following the auction. VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, AND DISCOVER ARE ALL ACCEPTED. A small 3% processing charge (by credit card company) will be applied. Wire transfer fees are paid by the buyer.
There will be absolutely NO returns or adjustments of any kind made 30 days or more after the sale date (no exceptions). We reserve the right to refuse admittance to or participation by any individual or group.
