The Saturday sale opens with a handsome George III pocket globe by John Miller of Edinburgh, 1793; the hand-painted sphere is fitted in its original leather case and is from the Estate of James O. Keene along with antique trade silver and American Indian and pre-Columbian pottery. Additionally, from a Northern Michigan collector, Southwest American Indian pottery and basketry, Plains beadwork, and Northeast birch bark and quill boxes. From the Collection of Dr. Douglas Crary, Ann Arbor, Chinese cinnabar plaques, ivory and stone carvings; beautiful mahogany furniture by Baker and Kittinger; Waterford crystal; and etchings by Levon West, Stow Wengenroth, Gerry Price, and others. Also featuring attractive sterling silver from a private collector including a George III water pitcher, an Edwardian hammered tankard, and early 20th century repousse vase and flower basket; as well as a Towle 'Royal Windsor'tea and coffee set, and Georg Jensen 'Acorn' flatware service for fourteen.
