TOP RATEDFeaturing the personal collection of Sam Johnson. A fifty year collection of rare and fine artifacts - many being published in archaeological books and publications. We are pleased to offer over 200 artifacts from the collection. In this offering are some of Sam's finest pieces. The entire cache of Caddo Celts found by Sam at Cossatot some 30 years ago will be sold. Relics from Crenshaw, many found by Sam's mentor Glenn Kizza are also a part of this sale. Sam Johnson is considered a leading expert on all types of pottery, but his focus has been the art of the ancient Caddo Culture. An array of documented Caddo (and Mississippian) pottery masterpieces will be offered. Each item noted as a part of the Sam Johnson collection is eligible for a Caddo Trading Certificate of Authenticity for a reduced rate of $20 per item.
We are also pleased to offer a significant portion of the late Leo Paul Davis Collection. Mr. Davis was featured in Who's Who in Indian Relics #3 (1972) and #7 (1988). Many of his finest flint artifacts will be offered in this auction. Many will remember the large Snyders and North Blades from his well known frames.
A group of artifacts from Spiro Mound (LeFlore, OK) are also included in this sale. Acquired from Gilbert Dilley's Grandson, these relics (including a large T-Pipe) have been in storage in the Dilley collection for decades.
Two other additions to the auction have provided a large group of Stone Artifacts and Midwestern Flint. We will be offering the second part of the Tony Podkanowicz Collection. This lifetime collection includes many Axes, Celts and Pestles. The collection of the Lewis McDaniel is being introduced in this sale. It consists many fine Lost Lakes, Dovetails and Paleo pieces that were collected during the 1960's.

Many consigned items in this auction have been evaluated by nationally recognized authenticators. In situations where our consignors have endeavored to provide such verification, the artifacts are being sold with that opinion. All items carrying an independent certificate of authenticity are being sold "as is".
Other consigned prehistoric items without a certificate of authenticity (or with a T&T COA only) may be returned by absentee bidders (phone or internet) within 28 days following the auction. We must be notified of the return. It must arrive at our location no more than 28 days following the auction.
We have attempted to accurately describe all Items being sold, but all property offered for sale is strictly "as is". It is the bidder's responsibility (whether in person, by phone, or mail) to determine exact condition of each Item. No statement in this catalogue, invoice or any other document by associates of T & T Archaeological Consulting, LLC or Brent H. Fuchs Auctioneering shall be deemed to be warranty, representation or assumption of liability with respect to age, condition, size quality, importance, variety, provenance or historical reference- as related to any sale Item(s). Any such statements are strictly matters of opinion. Photographs in this catalogue are of the actual objects being sold, but exact condition of the objects offered is their condition day of the sale. The Auctioneer (Brent H. Fuchs Auctioneering ID#AU1044390) will be the final judge as to which bidder is the highest bidder. In event of any dispute in this matter, the auctioneer shall use his own discretion to decide whether to reopen the bid or not. We are selling an item a minute, so don't wait until the last second to bid. Title to all merchandise shall pass to the highest bidder at the fall of the Auctioneer's "hammer." The Purchaser shall assume full risk and responsibility for the lot purchased once title has passed. The buyer must pay Indiana sales Tax (7%) unless exception is allowed under laws regulating such tax. Out of state sales tax numbers are accepted. You do not pay Indiana Sales Tax if Items are shipped out of state. There is a 13% Buyer's Premium for internet purchases.
All accounts are to be settled by the end of the sale unless other arrangements have been made. Payment may be made by cash or personal check if approval has been established with Tony Putty or T & T Archaeological Consulting, LLC. No items removed until paid for. Absentee purchases must be paid for within 21 days following the auction. VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, AND DISCOVER ARE ALL ACCEPTED. A small 3% processing charge (by credit card company) will be applied.
There will be absolutely NO returns or adjustments of any kind made 30 days or more after the sale date. We reserve the right to refuse admittance to or participation by any individual or group.
