This December, Wright presents Design, the latest installment in its seminal auction offering works by the leading designers of the 20th Century. A selection of lighting by Serge Mouille is featured among an array of designs by Gio Ponti, juxtaposed with several prismatic sculptures by Los Angeles based artist, Vasa. Other highlights include an elegant cabinet by André Sornay, a sleek vase by Art Deco masters Paul Mergier and Katsu Hamanaka and a commanding gong by Harry Bertoia. Finally, works by contemporary designers Maarten Baas, Marc Newson and Shigeru Uchida are represented in this distinguished sale.
