Created by Andy Warhol and published in 1967 by Black Star for Andy Warhol's Index Book, an absurd and revolutionary volume designed as "a children's book for hipsters". Size: 11 x 8 3/8 inches (278 x 212 mm). A classic Warhol piece of Pop Art from his Factory period, at the height of the New York psychedelic scene. Signed in the plate, not by hand. Condition: this work served as the actual back cover of the Index Book so there is some wear.
