A handsome Grenadier porcelain decanter modeled as the officer Eugene, arms folded across a braided teal tunic, fur cap set square and a cannon at his heel. The painter worked with a shrewd eye, and the gold frogging and white breeches carry fine detail. Stands approximately 11 inches, the plinth lettered Eugene with a Grenadier California Cream Sherry label at the reverse; the underside is marked Arnart Imports, Inc., Grenadier Spirits Co., December 1969.
