Description:
After Edgar Brandt (French, 1880-1960), The Oasis, Hammered Silver Screen, the five-panel folding screen, based on 'The Oasis' exhibited at the 1925 Paris Exposition, according to an advertisement it is 36 gauge sterling silver hand pounded over hand carved teak wood, late 20th c.Please see second image for the results of the XRF test results of silver. Overall length: 10 ft.Measurements: Height: 6 ft. 10 in. x Width: of each panel 24 in. x Depth: 3 1/2 in.
Condition
Good overall condition, some wear to edges and a couple nicks to edges of panel with silver pushed back, old marks and scratches.
