Marble grading and classification is often a matter of opinion and can vary from person to person. We highly recommend viewing the marbles in-person before bidding. We have taken extensive photos which tend to emphasize any defects but in a few cases, it is hard to see the defects. All lots are sold "AS IS". We make every effort to correctly describe and photograph the items to be sold. It is your responsibility to inspect and assess the authenticity, date, provenance, rarity, value, condition, wear and size of the items. In-person preview is available on the day of the auction starting at 2:00 pm EST or by appointment beforehand. If you or a representative are unable to preview in-person please carefully examine all photos. The absence of any condition report does not imply the lot is without defects.
