A finely stitched Scottish sampler worked in red, blue, and soft green wool threads on a linen ground, featuring multiple alphabet rows, numerals, and decorative borders. The lower register presents a central flowering tree flanked by two stylized peacocks and potted floral motifs. Signed “Sophia Jameson, Cupar, 1816”.
