Length 7.4cm, Width 3.6cm, Weight 41g, Made by the Imperial Workshop of the Qing Dynasty, it was an essential accessory for imperial sacrificial and fasting rituals. Copper body with gold gilding, inlaid with turquoise and lapis lazuli. Adopting repoussé, chasing, filigree and gem inlay techniques, the plaque surface is chased with five bats (implying "the Five Blessings holding longevity"), with the two characters "Zhai Jie (Fasting)" intaglio-carved in the center, the edge is edged with inlaid turquoise, and the two characters "Zhai Jie" are framed with lapis lazuli. Qing Dynasty (the Qianlong period is typical). A physical witness of imperial sacrificial etiquette, few surviving pieces retain full gold gilding and complete inlaid gems, it has both historical and craft value, being a fine piece of Qing imperial cultural relics with extremely rare market circulation and auction prices usually at the level of several hundred thousand yuan.
