Poster commemorating the re-christening and maiden voyage of the Steamboat Minnehaha on May 25, 1996, traveling from Excelsior to Wayzata on Lake Minnetonka. The Minnehaha is a historic, steam-powered excursion vessel (known as a "streetcar boat") that originally operated on Lake Minnetonka from 1906 to 1926. After being intentionally sunk (scuttled) in 1926, the boat was raised from the lake's bottom in 1980, restored, and returned to service in 1996.
