Description

Alan Bean (American, 1932-2018), a limited edition offset lithograph on paper titled In the Beginning, numbered 451 of 1000. Created in 1993 to commemorate the Apollo program and the historic Moon landing of July 20, 1969, the artwork depicts astronauts gathered in celebration on the lunar surface in front of the American flag. Surrounding the image are the hand-signed signatures of numerous NASA astronauts from various missions, including Buzz Aldrin, Michael Collins, Alan Bean, Gene Cernan, Charles Duke, Jim Lovell, Al Worden, and others, accompanied by their corresponding mission patches. A historically significant tribute to American space exploration. Presented under glass in a silver tone metal frame. Sight size approximately 28.25 inches by 22.75 inches.

Dimensions: 37 X 31 X 1.25 in.

Condition: Good overall condition having normal surface wear. Frame exhibits storage wear to edges and corners.
