1966 Kingdom of Lesotho Independence Commemorative Silver Coin Set. Limited issue Set No. 1470 of 3500 containing four silver coins: 50 Lisente, 20 Lisente, 10 Lisente, and 5 Lisente. Issued October 4, 1966 to commemorate Lesotho’s independence. Obverse features portrait of King Moshoeshoe II; reverse displays the national coat of arms with “Khotsu Pula Nala.” Housed in original red presentation case with official certificate insert featuring portraits of the King and Prime Minister. Scarce complete set with original packaging.
Condition
Coins appear uncirculated with light natural toning. Housed in original fitted case. Case shows minor age wear. Certificate insert present and numbered.
