Group of two Gothic Revival needlepoint borders, French, circa 1860-1880, including one in tent stitch red, aquamarine blue, purple, black, and brown wool and yellow mercerized cotton on canvas, with columnar design of fleur-de-lys in cartouches [99 x 8.5 in.]; the other in tent stitch red, aquamarine blue, cerulean blue, black, and brown wool and yellow mercerized cotton on canvas, with columnar design of acanthus and abstracted stained glass windows [71 x 10.25 in.]. Both in very good, unused condition.
