An informal sterling silver dinner fork once owned by Adolf's Hitler's wife, Eva Braun. The rather simply designed 8.5 in. four-tine fork has beading about the edge of the handle, along with Braun's period-engraved 'butterfly'-style 'E B' monogram at the bottom which had been designed for her by Albert Speer. Hallmarked on the reverse, with '800' purity stamp. Tarnished, else very good condition. As was the case with her future husband, Braun was gifted many sets of silverware over the period of their relationship. Skillfully engraved and of a pattern we have seen before with provenance, but as this piece bears no such provenance, sold as is.
