Limited-edition hand-signed lithograph, The Magic Flute, by Marc Chagall, 1967. This lithograph is 13/300. Chagall, a Russian-French modernist, blended Surrealism, Cubism, and Fauvism with dreamlike, folkloric imagery, often reflecting his Jewish childhood in Vitebsk. He studied under Yehuda Pen in Vitebsk and later under L?on Bakst in St. Petersburg. Chagall continued to create art until his death on 28 March 1985 in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, where he is buried. The frame is 37" x 27", and the lithograph is 32" x 23". The lithograph is in excellent pre-owned condition with no noticeable flaws. Please reference all of the photographs.
