THIRD REICH SS POLIZEI SWORD.

Description

Third Reich M36 SS Polizei sword with a 29" blade marked "Krebs, Solingen", and with the SS emblem in a diamond marking on the cross guard. Blade exhibits scattered marks, and areas of light freckling throughout (appears to been polished). Nickel-plated steel fittings have areas of freckling (especially on the tip of the lower section), and the ebony wooden grip retains very little of its black finish, with tight wire and a police emblem present. A SS portepee is attached. Black painted steel scabbard retains most of its finish with freckling and scattered marks. CONDITION: Overall Good to Very Good. Blade Length: 29" Overall Length: 34 - 1/2"
