
A PAIR OF GILT-EMBELLISHED FAMILLE ROSE SEMI-EGGSHELL 'LADY AND BOYS' DISHES Yongzheng Exquisitely painted with a lady sitting on a chair beside a vase of chrysanthemums and an open book, a child leaning over the arm of her spotted bamboo chair to observe two quails at play in a circular enclosure, two further boys observing the birds intently and a dappled dog also curiously looking on, the scene bordered with a narrow green diaper border set with three panels of pink flowers beneath a wider pink ground diaper border with leaf-form panels enclosing pink peonies, within a thin gilt floral scrolling border. 21cm (8 1/4in) diam.
