A CHESTNUT-GROUND SILK EMBROIDERED 'DRAGON' ROBE, JIFU Late Qing Dynasty The reddish-brown silk ground worked with eight writhing five-clawed dragons on the front and back panels, each presented among clouds, flames and auspicious symbols, all above a hem of cresting waves tossed with peonies and peach bouquets, lined in blue silk. 108cm (42 1/2in) long.
