TWO PAIRS OF BRONZE VASES TOGETHER WITH A BRONZE VASE Meiji period Comprising: a pair of 'carp' vases, each rising from a splayed foot to an ovoid body and waisted neck, decorated with two leaping and swimming carp fish, in iro-e takazōgan and kebori, unsigned; a pair of inlaid 'cockerel' vases each with a cockerel perched on a prunus branch with its tail trailing down, signed miyamoto zo; and a 'lotus and egret' vase decorated in shallow relief with an egret in a lotus pond. The tallest 19.8cm (7 3/4in) high. (5).
