
TWO IMARI TEAPOTS AND COVERS Edo period, 18th century The first of cylindrical form with an upright handle and open channelled spout, painted and gilt with panels of flowering chrysanthemum sprays on decorative floral and foliate grounds; the second white glazed with an upright twisted double handle, the body with a moulded floral honeycomb design, reserved with landscape panels.
